Education

BrainStation, 2018

This full-time boot-camp taught me foundational skills needed for web-development. The program focused on a hands-on approach within a project-based learning environment, in which among other things, I was taught HTML to structure my applications, CSS for styling and JavaScript, both to interact with the DOM and build RESTful servers with Node.js.

Experience

Freelance, October 2018 - Current

My ongoing freelance project for this period is a marketplace application that I am building for a client, the purpose of which is facilitate finding and booking performances for musicians and venues. I have also built an ecommerce template application and I am currently building an application for families to organize and schedule their lives.

Litt, March 2020 - June, 2020

At Litt I was required to implent upgrades, new features and bugfixes to the existing codebase. I was also required to follow "git flow" principles to structure my workflow and to document changes when submitting a pull request. Working in this environment has made me comfortable interacting with unfamiliar codebases and collaborating with other developers.
